Heating Supply Winter Preps
When it comes to winter, one of the biggest things on people's mind is do I have everything ready for the winter cold.
Here is a list of some heating supplies, that you may want to have on hand as winter will arrive soon for people living in the Northern Hemisphere. First, if the house is ran on a fire place, is the fire stock pile built up enough to last through the winter. Secondly are all the vents in the house cleaned out and ready so that what ever heating supply you use in the house the proper circulation of fresh air and the CO2 can be sent outside of the house. The next heating supply to look at is the Carbon monoxide and smoke alarms are they all ready as well, this is a huge heating supply need to keep you safe during the winter from smoke poisoning.
If you use propane to heat your house during the winter have you checked your propane tanks outside to make sure that they are clean and full so that they will be ready for the winter.
Next, make sure to check all the cars/trucks to see that you have a blanket and heat supplies in the car/truck so that this winter if you get stuck out in the cold, you will have enough items to get you through until you can find rescue.
If your house has an emergency generator, now is the time to check and make sure they are running properly as this could be a huge heating asset to your house during the winter if the power goes out, so make sure they are running smooth and that you have enough gasoline in storage to fill these generators up.
